“I’m Bored With My Workout Routine”
For some people, doing the same exact routine is a bit soothing — the repetition, the predictability, it can all be rather nice when everything else is a bit more chaotic and out of our control. But for many of us, we don’t want to do the same thing every day, and we get bored when we do.
Even if your favorite thing in the world is to simply run on the treadmill, chances are, you might get bored with it eventually — and on top of that, doing the same exercise, all the time, is not good for your body. You’ll be much more the perfect picture of health when you combine balance in your workout routines, and switch things up.

With exercise classes and training options for you to enjoy, there’s so much more to our gym than simply lifting weights on your own, doing the stairmaster, and then leaving. “I Don’t Like Working Out in Front of Others”
The number of people who have felt or thought this is borderline astronomical. There’s a lot of perceived judgment that can come from working out in a gym, particularly if you’re just starting out, and aren’t feeling too confident about your endurance, strength, or “skill.” We say it like that, because the truth is that just getting to the gym and having the courage to put your fitness as a priority is much, much more important than anything else.
And in terms of how you think you’re doing, or whether you’re working out correctly (by which we mean, safely), get involved with our training options! We offer private training, which might be ideal for anyone just starting out and trying to learn proper form and technique. But you could also challenge yourself and try our group training options — chances are, you’re not the only one feeling a little nervous about working out in front of others. This might help you get past that fear, and also make some like-minded friends in the process!
“I Have Too Much to Do”
We all have so much (and probably too much) to do, it’s true. And this is one of the easiest ways for our health to get put on the backburner. But we’ll say that again — when we put off working out because of our busyness, we are putting our health second to our schedules.
Of course, sometimes it can’t be avoided, and that’s OK. But if you find yourself making a habit of dipping out of workouts due to your schedule, it’s probably time to reassess where, when, and how you can make fitness a priority again. Not to mention, when you make your health an important part of your life, you’ll be better able to tackle the endless list of todos on your calendar.
