Why is nutrition important?
What we put into our bodies has a direct impact on our moods, our energy levels, and our mental and physical health. By becoming more mindful and intentional about what we eat, when we eat, how we eat, and why we eat, we can create balance and harmony in
our bodies – mentally, physically and emotionally.
The nutrients within our food act as information to our cells. When we give our bodies the right information, they will function at their highest level of performance—thus, we feel more energetic, our minds are clearer, we look more vibrant—the list of benefits goes on and on! By figuring out which specific foods and eating styles work the best for our individual bodies, we can optimize our health and can achieve a higher level of overall wellness.
What is the approach?
As an Integrative Nutrition Health Coach, Liz guides clients to help them reach goals in a variety of wellness categories, using a holistic and whole-life approach. This means that in addition to focusing on what goes onto the plate, we explore life factors “off” the plate, too. Lifestyle factors like career satisfaction, healthy relationships, organized home life, opportunities for creativity and overall joy all make an impact on our health and food choices. Liz uses a range of coaching tools to dive deep into these topics so that her
clients can achieve optimal health. Through nutrition and health coaching, you will be guided in ways to implement healthy, sustainable behavior change to create physical, emotional and mental transformations that truly last for the long-term.
How do I start?
To get started, set up your initial consultation with Liz Greenlaw. During this 90-minute private session, you will work one-on-one to explore your health history and set initial goals, which will be the key to building a firm foundation. From there, Liz will help set up
a plan that is tailored to your own unique wellness goals. She will work as your personal accountability partner and will challenge you to identify your values, develop inner wisdom, stretch yourself, and facilitate goal-setting so that you can turn your intentions
